First: read the physical inputs
Count the group and inspect every suit and deck copy. Name printed Jokers separately from ordinary cards of the designated wild rank. Correct the input before discussing an arrangement.
Second: inspect the interpretation
Read the category and substitution list. A wild-rank card may fit naturally. If a substitute is used, identify exactly which missing position it fills; never count one physical card twice.
Third: stop at the boundary
A group result is not a full-hand declaration, turn ruling or prediction. State what the tool did and what it did not receive. If you are checking a whole hand on paper, verify every group and physical-card assignment separately.
Keep a useful question
Save the tokens, wild rank, chosen profile and result you expected. “I treated these two clubs as different suits” is a clearer learning point than “the checker disagreed.”
